Ingredients for 2 servings:
- 8 large shrimp
- 300 g spaghetti, dried (make sure it is of good quality!)
- 6 garlic cloves
- ½ bunch parsley
- 125 ml olive oil, good
- 1 chili pepper(s), dried
- Parmesan, freshly grated
- Sea salt and pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 8 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 8 hours 25 minutes
Remove the shells and intestines from the prawns. Finely slice the garlic. Mix the garlic with the oil and a little salt and add the chili pepper. Marinate the prawns for about 8 hours, turning occasionally if they are not completely covered. Chop the parsley. Cook the spaghetti in plenty of salted water until al dente. Add the chili pepper from the marinade to the water. Meanwhile, remove the prawns from the marinade, making sure that no garlic sticks to them, but that they are still oiled. Be sure to save the marinade! Briefly fry the prawns on both sides in a large pan over low heat without any additional fat. Add the marinade and about 3 tablespoons of the pasta water. Drain the spaghetti, add it to the pan, mix everything well and let it simmer for a while. Arrange on plates, sprinkle with freshly grated Parmesan cheese and parsley and season with pepper and sea salt.
