Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 250g spaghetti
- 80 g pancetta or streaky bacon
- 3 tbsp olive oil
- 3 egg yolks
- 50 g Parmesan
- 1 pinch(s) of pepper
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 25 minutes
First, cook the spaghetti. Cut the bacon into small cubes or use pre-cooked cubes and fry in a little oil. Mix the egg yolks and Parmesan cheese in a bowl. Then remove the pan from the heat, add the pasta, and toss in the still-hot pan with the bacon, a little pasta water, and the egg yolk and cheese mixture. Serve the carbonara with a little extra Parmesan cheese.
