Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 130 g butter
  • 60 g powdered sugar
  • 1 egg(s)
  • 190 g flour
  • 1 pack of pudding powder, vanilla
  • Jam, as desired
  • powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 35 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

makes about 30 pieces

Cream together softened butter, icing sugar, and egg, then mix in the flour and custard powder and knead into a dough – this can be used immediately. Roll out the dough on a well-floured board (approx. 3-4 mm thick) and cut out rings (5 cm in diameter). Place these on a baking tray lined with baking paper, and top each with 1 teaspoon of jam. Form the leftover dough into walnut-sized balls and press them through a garlic press directly onto the jam (use a knife to separate the dough). Bake in a preheated oven at 160°C (fan oven) for approx. 10-12 minutes. Once cooled, sprinkle with icing sugar.
