Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat
- 500 g tomatoes, chopped
- 500 ml tomato sauce
- 1 jar of water, approx. 250 ml
- some tomato paste
- 2 carrots
- 1 onion(s)
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. Herbs, Italian
- e.g. garlic powder
- e.g. chili flakes
- 500g spaghetti
- Oil for frying
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 20 minutes
Finely chop the onion and sauté it in a pan with a little oil. Add the minced meat and brown it well. Then add the chopped tomatoes, tomato paste, a little water, and seasoning. Let the sauce simmer for about 20 minutes. Pour in the tomato sauce and the remaining water. Simmer everything over medium heat for about 30 minutes. Finely grate the carrots and add them at the end. Cook for another 10 minutes. Meanwhile, cook the spaghetti al dente according to the package instructions. Serve the sauce with the pasta.
