Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 carrot(s)
  • 500 g minced beef or tartar
  • salt and pepper
  • 200 ml vegetable broth (instant)
  • 70 g tomato paste
  • 1 tsp oregano
  • 400 g tomatoes, chopped, with herbs, e.g. from the tetra pack
  • 2 tbsp tomato ketchup
  • 500g spaghetti

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour 5 minutes

Peel the onion, garlic, and carrot and dice finely. Add the minced meat to the pan, heat gently, and fry in its own fat, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Add the onions, garlic, and carrots and fry briefly. Deglaze with the stock. Then stir in the tomato paste, oregano, chopped tomatoes, and tomato ketchup. Let it simmer for about 40 minutes. Cook the spaghetti in salted water until al dente. Drain through a sieve, rinse with cold water, and serve with the sauce. Tip: The Bolognese sauce is also delicious with rice. 19 g fat, 22.5%, 102 carbs
