Ingredients for 3 servings:
- 300g spaghetti
- 1 m.-sized onion(s)
- 100 g ham or salami
- 100 g smoked belly or pancetta
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 m.-sized egg(s)
- some garlic
- salt and pepper
- 200 g cheese, grated
- Fat for the mold
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes
Cook the spaghetti according to the instructions until it’s “al dente” or even tender. Dice the onion, ham, and bacon (or 100g of salami, if you like) and toast them. Whisk the egg with the sour cream and mix in the seasoning. Grease the casserole dish, place the first layer of spaghetti in the dish, spread about half of the onion, ham, and bacon mixture over the pasta, and then spread about 1/3 of the cream mixture over the top. Add another layer of spaghetti, the remaining half of the onion, ham, and bacon mixture, and some of the cream mixture over the top. Then add the last layer of spaghetti and spread the rest of the cream mixture. Finally, add the grated cheese. Preheat the oven to 180-200°C (350-400°F) for about 5-10 minutes, then bake the casserole for 35-45 minutes. A little tip for cheese lovers: Add a few slices of cheese after each layer (pasta/ham/cream).
