Sweet cherries with balsamic vinegar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g cherry(s), sweet
  • 100 ml red wine
  • 80 g sugar
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Wash and pit the cherries, and place them in a saucepan. Add the red wine, balsamic vinegar, and sugar. Stir gently and bring to a boil. Then simmer over low heat for 5-10 minutes. Tip: Delicious with fresh waffles.
