Fish dish with tilapia fillet Greek style with apple and cucumber

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 4 tbsp olive oil (olive oil with chili)
  • 2 lemons, juice
  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 2 bay leaves
  • n. B. fish spice
  • e.g. salt and pepper
  • 1 m.-sized apple
  • 1 cucumber(s)
  • 8 tilapia fillets

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 20 minutes; Total time approx. 35 minutes

Heat the olive oil in a pan. Squeeze the lemon and pour the juice into the pan. Add the butter, bay leaves, fish seasoning, salt, and pepper. Peel and quarter the apple, remove the core, and cut into small slices. Peel and halve the cucumber, scrape out the seeds, and cut the cucumber into crescent-shaped slices. Add the apple and cucumber to the pan. Bring everything to a boil and add the tilapia fillets. Cover and simmer for about 15-20 minutes. Serve the tilapia fillets with the stewed apple and cucumber.
