Spread the love

Ingredients for 3 servings:

  • 500g spaghetti
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 2 garlic cloves
  • 5 tbsp fresh Italian herbs
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 500 g king prawns, frozen, ready to cook, thawed
  • 1 jar tomato sauce (arrabiata), 400 g
  • Salt and pepper, from the mill

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Cook the spaghetti according to the package instructions until al dente. Meanwhile, finely chop the onion and garlic. Wash and chop the herbs. Rinse the king prawns and pat dry. Heat the oil in a pan, sauté the onions until they are yellow, add the garlic and sweat briefly. Briefly fry the king prawns. Before the onions and garlic turn brown, deglaze with the jar of tomato sauce. Stir briefly and put the lid on. Set aside if boiling. The king prawns should cook slowly in the hot sauce, do not boil. When they are cooked, stir in the herbs (reserve a few for garnish) and season with salt and pepper. Place the pasta in a large bowl and spoon the sauce over the pasta. Sprinkle with the remaining herbs.
