Spaghetti with Mushrooms

The perfect spaghetti with mushrooms recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 200 g Spaghetti
  • 400 g Mushrooms
  • 1 Onion, finely diced
  • 2 Cloves of garlic, grated
  • 1 tbsp Tomato paste
  • 150 ml White wine
  • 100 ml Cream
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • Salt
  • 0,5 bunch Parsley, chopped
  • Oil
  1. Halve or fry the mushrooms depending on the size. Please make sure that the oil is really hot so that the Champis get nice roasted aromas. If the oil is not hot enough, the champis start to boil and get an unsightly consistency.
  2. Then add the onion, garlic and tomato paste. Roast everything for a few minutes, turning, until the tomato paste begins to settle on the bottom of the pan, then deglaze with the white wine and let it reduce almost completely.
  3. Now add the cream and turn the heat down. Taste everything. In the meantime, the spaghetti has been cooked according to the instructions and they come dripping wet (with plenty of pasta water) to the champis, toss in the pan a few times, add the parsley and serve.
