Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g sugar
  • 4 eggs
  • 1 packet of vanilla sugar
  • some flavoring, lemon
  • 125 ml mineral water
  • 125 ml oil
  • 300 g flour
  • 1 packet of baking powder
  • 1 large apple
  • 1 tbsp cinnamon powder
  • possibly powdered sugar, for dusting or as icing

Instructions

Working time approx. 25 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Preheat the oven to 180 degrees Celsius. Beat the eggs with the sugar and vanilla sugar until frothy. Combine the flour and baking powder and stir in. Stir in the soda, flavoring, and cinnamon. Peel and core the apple, chop it into small pieces, and fold it in. Spread the batter onto a greased baking sheet and bake for about 30 minutes. If you like, you can dust the cake with powdered sugar or icing.
