Spätzle – minced meat – pan with tomatoes

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g spaetzle
  • 500 g minced beef
  • 500 g tomatoes, chopped
  • 100 g tomato paste
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 5 slices of baguette
  • ½ box of cress
  • salt and pepper
  • Herbs of Provence
  • marjoram

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Pasta pan with tomato sauce and minced beef

Cook the spaetzle in salted water according to the package instructions. Dice the onion. Heat the oil in a pan and fry the onions briefly. Add the ground beef and fry until crumbly. Add the chopped tomatoes and tomato paste. Season with salt, pepper, Provençal herbs, and marjoram and cook the sauce until the pasta is tender. Drain the pasta and mix in. Season again to taste. Cut some cress and sprinkle over the pasta. Serve with the baguette slices.
