Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g spaetzle
- 400 g pork strips
- 1 pack of sour cream
- 1 pack of cream
- 3 tomatoes
- 2 tbsp tomato paste
- Beef broth
- salt and pepper
- vegetable broth
- e.g. Gouda, grated
Instructions
Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 40 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes
Cook the spaetzle in salted water according to the package instructions, then drain. Meanwhile, brown the pork strips and season with salt and pepper. Dice the tomatoes and add to the meat. Add 2-3 tablespoons of tomato paste, then stir in the sour cream and cream. Add 2 teaspoons of beef bouillon and 1 teaspoon of vegetable broth. Season with pepper. Place the cooked spaetzle in a baking dish. Spread the meat and sauce on top, then sprinkle with the Gouda cheese. Bake in the oven at 180°C (fan oven) until the cheese is slightly golden brown.
