Speck beans (green beans)

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g green beans
  • 100 g smoked bacon
  • some lovage (Maggi herb)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Clean the green beans and steam them until soft, then rinse with ice water. Finely chop the bacon and briefly roast it. Add the green beans, Maggi herb, salt, and pepper, and roast briefly until the green beans are warm. Serve immediately in the pot or make small parcels with aluminum foil and keep warm on the grill.
