Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g minced meat
  • salt and pepper
  • 1 tbsp garam masala or 2 tbsp
  • 2 onions
  • 1 garlic clove(s)
  • 1 avocado(s)
  • 8 cherry tomatoes
  • ½ cantaloupe melon(s)
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • lettuce leaves
  • 100 g Cheddar cheese
  • 4 tortillas

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 25 minutes; Total time approx. 55 minutes

Season the minced meat with salt, pepper, and garam masala. Peel and finely dice one onion and garlic. Heat a pan and fry the minced meat until crispy, then add the onion and garlic. After frying, drain through a sieve. Halve the avocado, remove the pit, and score it. Then put the flesh in a bowl. Chop the tomatoes and the other onion and add to the bowl with the avocado. Halve the melon, remove the core, and finely dice it. Add to the bowl and mix with the salsa. Stir in a tablespoon of lemon juice. Wash and slice the lettuce leaves, grate the cheddar cheese, and place some minced meat, cheese, lettuce, and salsa into each tortilla. Finally, season with salt and pepper.
