Spicy Baking: Puff Pastry with Shallot and Mango Topping

The perfect spicy baking: puff pastry with shallot and mango topping recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 1 piece Puff pastry sheet, rectangular TK
  • 1 piece Flour for the mold
  • 0,5 piece Red pepper
  • 2 piece Fresh shallots
  • 1 piece Fresh mango
  • 2 tablespoon Sour cream
  • Salt and pepper
  1. Peel the mango and cut half of the pulp into small cubes. Peel the shallots and also dice the peppers and shallots very small. Season a little with salt and pepper.
  2. Puree the other half of the pulp with the sour cream and season with salt and pepper.
  3. Roll out the defrosted puff pastry sheet and place in a floured baking dish (for one portion).
  4. Now spread the cut vegetables on top and finally pour the sour cream on top.
  5. Bake in a preheated oven at approx. 200 degrees for 40 – 45 minutes. The last 10 minutes of it with bottom heat.
