Spicy celery cream soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 medium celery root
  • 2 onions
  • 3 potatoes
  • 40 g butter
  • ½ liter chicken broth
  • ¼ liter milk, heated
  • salt and pepper
  • nutmeg

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

Peel the celery, onions, and potatoes, cut into 2 cm cubes, and sauté in 20 g butter for 1 minute. Add the chicken stock, cover, and simmer for 25 minutes. Blend thoroughly. Add the hot milk and the remaining butter, and season to taste with nutmeg, salt, and pepper.
