Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 400 g chicken, fried, cut into small pieces
- 2 medium-sized eggs, boiled, sliced
- 1 tbsp capers, finely chopped
- 3 anchovy fillets, finely chopped (or equivalent paste)
- 1 medium-sized onion(s), finely diced
- 2 m.-sized gherkins or pepper gherkins, thinly sliced
- 1 tbsp mustard
- 3 tbsp oil
- e.g. salt and pepper
- n. B. sugar
- n. B. vinegar
Instructions
Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 3 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 8 minutes; Total time approx. 3 hours 28 minutes

Mix together a salad dressing from mustard, oil, a little vinegar, some sugar, salt, and pepper. Stir in the onion, anchovies, capers, and chicken. Let it marinate well (about 3 hours). Finally, stir in thin slices of gherkin and slices of boiled egg. Serve with toast and butter.
