Christmas appetizer

Wash and trim various leaf lettuces, such as Lollo Rosso, Frisée, and Iceberg, and cut them into bite-sized pieces. Drain well and mix the leaves together. Make a marinade from vinegar, oil, salt, pepper, water, and a little sugar (although any other marinade you like can also be used). Pour the marinade over the leaf lettuce and mix well. Use a cookie cutter to cut out stars from the toast, ham, and mozzarella. Top the toast stars with the corresponding ham and cheese stars. Place a small basil leaf, another ham star, and finish with a toast star (like a sandwich). Coat the assembled stars in beaten eggs and breadcrumbs. Fry in hot oil on both sides. Arrange the salad in portions on plates, place 3-4 fried stars on each, and serve. It looks super decorative and tastes delicious.
