Spicy Chicken Salad
The perfect spicy chicken salad recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
- 4 Pc. Chicken breasts
- 0,5 Cauliflower
- 1 Green salad of your choice
- 2 Pc. Spring onion
- 4 Pc. Tomatoes
- Fresh chives
- 2 Apples
- 2 Pears
- 3 Garlic cloves
- Grated fresh Parmesan
- 1 cups Yogurt
- Freshly squeezed lemon juice
- Salt and pepper
- Turmeric
- Ground ginger
- Ground cardamaom
- Chili powder
- Soy sauce
- Sesame oil
- Wash the chicken breasts and dab well, cut into strips or cubes. Halve the spring onion & cut into fine rings and finely chop the chilli. Mix the chicken, chilli and onion together in a bowl. Season with soy sauce, cardamom, ginger, turmeric and pepper. Let it steep for at least 3 hours.
- Wash the karfiol and grate it with a fine slicer in a large bowl, cut the lettuce into bite-sized pieces, wash and drain well on the sides. Wash and dice the tomatoes and mix with the cauliflower. Wash the apple and pear, quarter the core and cut into thin slices. Then put in the bowl and mix everything well.
- Wash and cut the chives and add to the bowl. Peel and finely chop the garlic and leave to stand on one side. Process yogurt, mustard, salt, pepper and lemon juice into a dressing. Heat some sesame oil in a pan, add the marinated chicken strips and garlic to the pan and sauté. Let cool a little on the side.
- Put the green salad in the bowl and mix everything, then pour the dressing over it and season to taste again. Enjoy with the chicken.
