Chocolate and Cherry Cake with Quark Topping

  • 50 g Chocolate chips
  • 100 g Soft butter
  • 200 g Sugar
  • 2 packet Vanilla sugar
  • 1 Pr Salt
  • 4 Eggs
  • 125 g Flour
  • 1,5 tbsp Cocoa powder
  • 1 teaspoon Baking powder
  • 400 g Quark
  • 2 tbsp Milk
  • 0,5 Glass Cherry jam
  • 0,5 packet Custard powder
  1. 1st butter, 100 g sugar and 1 Pä. Stir the vanilla sugar until creamy. Stir in 2 eggs. Mix in the flour, cocoa, chocolate chips, baking powder and milk. Pour the dough into a greased and floured loaf pan and spread it on. Mix the jam and spread it on the dough. Separate 2 eggs. Mix the quark, 50 g sugar, remaining vanilla sugar and pudding powder. Beat the egg white with salt until stiff, while drizzling in the remaining sugar. Fold the egg whites under the quark and pour the mixture into the mold.
