Spicy cold dog

Spread the love

Ingredients for 10 servings:

  • 200 g Paprika Pepper spread (e.g. brunch)
  • 250 g mascarpone
  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 1 garlic clove(s), peeled
  • Pepper from the mill
  • 9 slice(s) Knäckebread (crunchy bread)
  • 25 g arugula
  • 100 g Parma ham

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 45 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour

First, mix or puree the bread spread, mascarpone, and feta cheese until smooth. Finely chop the garlic, mix in, and season with pepper. Line a loaf pan with baking paper. Then spread three slices of crispbread thickly with the cheese spread and place them in the pan, ensuring the spread covers both the top and bottom. Trim the arugula and place some of it on top of the spread. Place half of the ham on top and repeat until the pan is filled. Add crispbread for the final layer. Place the loaf pan in the freezer for about 45 minutes until it is frozen solid. Then, using a moistened knife, loosen the edges. Turn the “cold dog” out onto a plate, cut into slices, and arrange on lettuce leaves.
