Spicy Drumsticks

The perfect spicy drumsticks recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 6 Drumsticks
  • 200 ml For sweet chili sauce see my KB: http://www./rezept/444811/Sweet-Chili-Sauce.html
  • 1 tbsp Lemon zest
  • 3 Garlic cloves, freshly grated
  • 20 g Ginger, freshly grated
  • 2 tbsp Honey
  • 1 shot Rum
  1. Put the chilli sauce in a bowl, add the garlic, lemon zest, ginger, honey and rum and mix everything very well. If necessary, add salt to taste, it wasn’t necessary for me.
  2. Put the drumsticks in a freezer bag, add the marinade and distribute the marinade well around the drumsticks, close the bag and let it stand for a good 3 hours, turning the freezer bag every now and then.
  3. After the 3 hours, preheat the oven to 180 degrees and take the drumsticks out of the bag and put them in an ovenproof dish, pour in the marinade and put in the oven for about 45 – 60 minutes, always pouring the marinade over them.
  4. We had a leaf salad and a fresh baguette with it.
