Spicy Egg Spread

The perfect spicy egg spread recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 3 Hard-Boiled eggs
  • 3 Pc. Gherkins pickles
  • Red pepper, 1/8 pod
  • 3 Basil leaves
  • 3 tbsp Mayonnaise 80% fat
  • 1 tbsp Extra virgin olive oil
  • 0,25 teaspoon Chilli flakes
  • 1 teaspoon Mustard medium hot
  • Salt
  • Some vinegar
  1. Chop the gherkins, basil and paprika very finely. Chop the hard-boiled eggs into small pieces.
  2. Stir mayo with mustard, vinegar and chilli until smooth. Stir in paprika, pickles and basil.
  3. Mix the chopped eggs with the dressing and add salt to taste.
  4. if you don’t like it so spicy, season with a little pepper.
  5. also suitable for small party rolls, or, as with us, on sandwiches.
