Spicy feta cream like in a Turkish snack bar

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 200 g feta cheese
  • 250 g quark min. 20% fat or cream cheese or a mixture of both
  • 1 tbsp sambal oelek
  • 1 tsp Sriracha sauce or other hot chili sauce
  • 5 dashes Tabasco, green
  • some salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Total time approx. 5 minutes

Place the feta and brine in a small bowl and mash with a fork. Add the quark or cream cheese and mix well. Season to taste with the remaining ingredients. The cream is ready to serve. Serve with flatbread, mushrooms, or pickled surimi shrimp (you can also find the surimi shrimp recipe here).
