Ingredients for 4 servings:
- 500 g minced meat, mixed
- 1 egg(s)
- 1 onion(s), finely chopped
- 4 tbsp yogurt
- 1 garlic clove(s), finely chopped
- possibly breadcrumbs
- salt and pepper
- 3 tbsp butter
- 3 tbsp flour
- ⅛ liter sweet cream
- 1 large apple
- Sugar
- curry
- Salt
Instructions
Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes
Mix the minced meat with egg, onion, garlic, and yogurt to form a dough that’s easy to work with. If the dough is too soft, add a small handful of breadcrumbs. Season with salt and pepper, shape the meatballs into small balls, and cook in lightly simmering salted water for 15-20 minutes; do not let them boil. For the sauce, make a roux with the butter and flour, then deglaze with about 3/8 liter of the meat broth from the balls and let it simmer for a while. Coarsely grate the apple and add it to the sauce along with the cream. Season the sauce to taste with sugar, salt, and curry powder. Serve the balls in the sauce. Serve with rice or baguette.
