Spicy minced meat soup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 1 kg minced meat, mixed
  • 1 large onion(s)
  • 1 liter meat broth, clear
  • 1 jar Ajvar, hot
  • 1 jar Ajvar, mild
  • 2 packs of processed cheese with herbs
  • 2 cups of crème fraîche
  • salt and pepper
  • Paprika powder

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Minced meat soup with ajvar

First, fry the minced meat until crumbly. In the meantime, dice a green onion. Add the onions to the minced meat and fry until translucent. Season the mixture with salt, pepper, and paprika. Deglaze the mixture with 1 liter of clear meat broth and bring to a boil briefly. Stir in the 2 jars of ajvar and bring back to a boil briefly. Finally, add the herb cheese spread and the crème fraîche and melt while stirring. If it’s not spicy enough, season again, and the soup is ready. This soup is really quick and easy to make. It’s perfect for cold winter evenings and Christmas parties.
