Ingredients
- 2 tsp Coriander seeds
- 1 tsp Cumin seeds
- 1 tsp Black peppercorns
- 1 tsp Chilli flakes
- 2 tbsp Salt
- 3 tsp Onion granules
- 2 tsp Dried oregano or marjoram
- 3 tbsp Paprika powder
- 3 tsp Garlic powder
Instructions
- Gently toast the coriander seeds, cumin seeds and peppercorns until they are lightly colored.
- Turn off the stove and add the chilli flakes, let the heat rise briefly and transfer this mixture to a plate to cool.
- Mix the salt, onion granules and oregano / marjoram, add the cooled mixture and grind everything finely in a coffee grinder or similar. Possibly spread over several rounds.
- Mix the ground mixture with paprika powder and garlic powder, pour into a screw-top jar or shaker and enjoy with anything you like.
- This rub is very versatile. It is not only suitable for grilling, but also for hearty stews, meatballs (whether meat or vegetarian / vegan) and much more.
