Spicy plum sauce

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 2 red chili peppers
  • 80 g bacon (breakfast bacon)
  • 1 tbsp oil
  • 200 ml chicken stock
  • 200 g plum jam
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

for fondue

Peel and finely dice the garlic. Halve the chili peppers lengthwise, remove the seeds, and finely dice. Finely dice the bacon. Heat the oil in a saucepan. Fry the bacon until golden brown. Add the garlic and fry for 1 minute. Deglaze with the stock and simmer for 5 minutes. Remove the pan from the heat. Stir in the plum jam and chili cubes. Mix everything thoroughly with a hand blender. Season with salt and pepper to taste.
