Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g flour
  • 1 bag(s) of dry yeast
  • Salt
  • 5 tbsp olive oil
  • 2 tbsp oil
  • 300 g chicken breast fillet(s)
  • 100 g onion(s), red
  • 375 g tomatoes
  • chili powder
  • 1 chili pepper(s), red
  • 125g mozzarella
  • 100 g chili sauce (Texicana Salsa)
  • Flour for the work surface
  • Chili pepper(s) for garnish

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Mix the flour with yeast and 1/4 teaspoon of salt. Add olive oil and 125 ml water and knead everything into a smooth dough. Let it rise for about 30 minutes. Preheat the oven to 200 degrees Celsius. Heat the oil and fry the meat for about 10 minutes, turning occasionally. Season with salt and pepper, remove from the oven and let cool. Peel the onions and cut into wedges. Dice the tomatoes. Deseed the chili pepper and cut into rings. Drain the mozzarella and slice the cheese and meat. Roll out the dough on a floured surface into a circle (about 28 cm in diameter) and place on a baking sheet lined with baking paper. Spread with the salsa and top with the meat, tomatoes, onions, and cheese. Sprinkle with salt, pepper, and chili powder and bake in the oven for 20-30 minutes. Serve hot, sprinkled with chili rings.
