Spicy turkey and pepper pan

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g turkey schnitzel
  • 2 onions
  • 2 cloves garlic
  • 3 bell peppers, red, yellow, green
  • 1 pot of basil
  • 1 sprig(s) rosemary
  • 2 tbsp oil (olive oil)
  • 200 g mushrooms, small
  • ½ cup sweet cream
  • ½ liter vegetable broth
  • some lemon juice

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Dice the meat. Finely chop the onions and garlic. Finely chop the bell peppers. Pick the basil leaves and rosemary sprigs. Heat the oil. Sauté the onions and garlic. Add the turkey cubes and cleaned mushrooms and fry until golden brown, stirring occasionally. Season with salt and pepper. Add the bell pepper pieces and fry briefly. Dust with flour and lightly sauté. Then deglaze with cream and stock and simmer for about another 10 minutes. Season again with salt, pepper, and lemon juice before serving. Any kind of pasta is delicious with this dish!
