Ingredients
- 400 g Frozen spinach leaves
- 40 g Butter
- 1 Diced onion
- 1 Garlic cloves chopped
- Black pepper from the mill
- Sea salt fine
- 1 tsp Lemon juice
- Freshly grated nutmeg
Instructions
- Melt the butter in a saucepan and fry the onion cubes until translucent, sauté the chopped garlic for a minute, then add the frozen spinach. Reduce the heat and let the vegetables thaw completely covered.
- Season with pepper, salt and lemon juice, stir once and finish cooking for another two to three minutes. Season with a touch of freshly ground nutmeg and serve.
- I served the simple leaf spinach with a potato and onion tortilla. But it also goes well with egg or fish dishes.
