Spinach sauce for pasta

Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 400 g creamed spinach
  • 50 g Parmesan, grated
  • 100 g cream cheese, grainy (light if possible)
  • 1 tsp olive oil
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • salt and pepper

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

First, peel and chop the onion and garlic, then sauté them in olive oil in a pan. Now add the spinach and stir until thawed (if frozen). Be careful, turn the heat down to low, or the spinach will burn! Add the cream cheese and Parmesan cheese. Then season with salt and pepper. This sauce is perfect with homemade pasta. I also recommend it with rice. 133 kcal per serving.
