Spread the love

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 250 g salami in thick slices
  • 1 pack of creamed spinach (frozen)
  • 1 small onion(s)
  • 1 tbsp sour cream or sour cream or crème fraîche
  • pepper
  • Parmesan, grated
  • n. B. Salt

Instructions

Working time approx. 5 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

Spinach sauce with a difference, good with pasta

Dice the salami and onion, fry them together in a pan until the onion is soft and the salami has taken on a nice color. Then add the spinach to the pan and let it thaw, stirring occasionally. Once the spinach has thawed, stir in the sour cream and a little Parmesan cheese, and season with salt and pepper. Be careful, the salami is quite salty. This sauce goes perfectly with your choice of pasta. If you’re on a calorie-conscious diet, you can vary the amount of salami and simply drain off the rendered fat after frying.
