Spinach with cream and nutmeg according to Aunt Marga

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 1 tbsp creamed spinach (frozen)
  • 1 shallot(s)
  • some butter
  • 1 pinch of nutmeg
  • 1 cup of sweet cream
  • Salt
  • pepper
  • some vegetable broth, low in salt
  • some water

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 10 minutes

with nutmeg and little salt (high blood pressure)

Melt the butter in a saucepan, peel the shallot and dice it into small pieces. Add it to the pan and fry until lightly browned. Add the spinach with a little water and let it thaw. Add the cream and shallots and season with pepper, salt, nutmeg, and vegetable stock. Heat the mixture and add a knob of butter.
