Spirali with Pine Nuts and Sage

The perfect spirali with pine nuts and sage recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 400 g Spiral pasta
  • Salt
  • 5 Pc. Sprigs of sage
  • 100 g Butter
  • 50 g Pine nuts oblong
  • Black pepper from the mill
  • 50 g Finely grated mountain cheese
  1. Cook the pasta according to the basic recipe. In the meantime, wash the sage and shake dry, pluck the leaves off. Melt the butter in a pan and briefly froth the sage leaves with the pine nuts over medium heat. Deglaze with 75 ml of pasta boiling water, season with salt.
  2. Drain the pasta and drain well, arrange on plates and pour the sage and pine nut butter over it, sprinkle with pepper and serve with freshly grated cheese.
