Ingredients for 12 servings:
- 6 egg whites
- 6 tbsp water, cold
- 200 g sugar
- 1 packet of vanilla sugar
- 6 egg yolks
- 100 g flour
- 100 g cornstarch
- 1 tsp baking powder
Instructions

Beat egg whites with cold water until very stiff. Gradually add sugar and vanilla sugar, mixing well. Gradually fold in egg yolks. Make a mixture of flour, cornstarch, and baking powder, sift through, and fold in. Pour into a 26 cm springform pan and bake at approximately 175°C (350°F) for about 35-40 minutes. It also works well as a cake base if cut horizontally.
