Squid in lime and white wine sauce

Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 200 g squid(s), frozen, cut into pieces or just tentacles
  • 2 stalk(s) Celery
  • 1 onion(s)
  • 1 clove(s) garlic
  • 10 cocktail tomatoes
  • 1 shot of white wine
  • ½ lime(s)
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 pinch(s) of pepper
  • 1 pinch(s) of sugar
  • 1 dash of olive oil

Instructions

Working time approx. 10 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 20 minutes

with celery and tomatoes

Dice the onion and garlic, and cut the celery into 1-2 cm wide pieces. Heat the olive oil in a pan and briefly sauté the vegetables. Now add the squid and tomatoes and sauté briefly. Deglaze with white wine and squeezed lime juice, season with salt, pepper, and sugar, and simmer for 3-4 minutes. Serve on plates, garnish with lime slices and/or parsley, if desired, and enjoy. Serve with Italian white bread or ciabatta.
