Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 2 steaks
  • 4 slices of bacon
  • 2 medium-sized onions, cut into strips
  • 3 garlic cloves, sliced
  • 1 large tomato(s), possibly 2, also sliced
  • some olive oil
  • Spice mix (steak seasoning)
  • salt and pepper

Cut a slit into the side of the meat and fill with the bacon slices. Brush the steaks with olive oil and sprinkle with the steak seasoning. Sprinkle the sliced ​​garlic cloves into a suitable baking dish and add the steaks. Let them rest in the refrigerator for about 1 hour. Sear the steaks on both sides in a pan and return them to the baking dish. In the same pan, sauté the onion until translucent and pour over the steaks. Place the sliced ​​tomatoes on top of the onions and season with salt and pepper. Bake the steaks in the oven at 200°C for about 30 minutes and serve with baked potatoes at the end, if desired.
