Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 15 minutes

A simple basic recipe when you need something quick but tasty.

Cut the potatoes into roughly 1 cm cubes. Halve the Mettwurst lengthwise and then slice again; it will be added to the cooking mix to add flavor. Pick off the parsley leaves and chop them medium-finely. Place the potatoes, Mettwurst, and parsley stalks in a pot, cover with water, and bring to a boil. Crumble in the stock cubes and let the stew simmer, covered, for 15-20 minutes. Remove the parsley stalks and roughly mash everything in the pot with a potato masher. Add the lentils, peas, or beans and bring back to a boil. Heat the sausages in the stew until hot, then stir in the chopped parsley and two chopped lovage leaves. Season to taste with pepper, salt, and balsamic vinegar. It also tastes delicious reheated.
