Stock: Elderberry Syrup with Mint

The perfect stock: elderberry syrup with mint recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

  • 16 piece Elderflower
  • 1000 g Sugar
  • 500 ml White wine dry
  • 500 ml Water
  • 2 piece Lemons fresh
  • 5 stem Mint fresh
  1. Boil the sugar in wine and water until it has dissolved.
  2. Clean the elderflower (shake it a little so that the residents undress), wash the lemons with hot water and cut them into slices.
  3. Add the blossoms and lemon slices to the sugar-wine together with the mint, cover and let steep for three days.
  4. Sieve, let the syrup run through a cloth again, bring to the boil and pour into hot-rinsed bottles.
