Strammer Max with a twist – the whole-grain version

Pour the rapeseed oil into a pan and heat. Check if the oil is hot enough with a wooden spoon (place the handle in the oil and look for bubbles). Then add the meatloaf/Leberkäse to the pan and cook over medium heat for about 5 minutes, turning occasionally until golden brown. Place the two whole-grain toasts in the toaster (about 2 1/2 minutes, depending on your preference), crack the egg on the side of the pan, and fry until golden brown. Season the egg with salt, pepper, curry powder, paprika (or according to your preference). Remove the toasts from the toaster, place the meatloaf/Leberkäse on top, and cover with a slice of toasted cheese. Place the egg directly from the pan onto the cheese and let it melt briefly.
