Strawberries in balsamic pepper syrup

Ingredients for 4 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries, halved
  • 5 tbsp honey
  • 3 tbsp balsamic vinegar
  • 2 tsp black pepper, coarsely ground
  • 1 banana(s), sliced

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Rest time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 40 minutes

Mix the honey and vinegar well in a bowl. Stir in the pepper. Fold in the halved strawberries and let the bowl stand at room temperature for 10 minutes. Just before serving, fold in the sliced ​​banana. Serve the fruit and syrup in dessert bowls.
