Strawberry and Vanilla Ice Cream
The perfect strawberry and vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.
Strawberry ice cream
- 200 g Strawberries
- 75 g Sugar
- 3 tablespoon Water
- 1 teaspoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice
vanilla icecream
- 150 ml Milk
- 150 ml Cream
- 1 Vanilla pod
- 60 g Sugar
- 4 Egg yolk
Strawberry ice cream
- Let the sugar simmer with the water.
- Clean and wash the strawberries, cut into small pieces, puree with a hand blender and pass through a sieve.
- Add the sugar water and lemon juice, stir well and let cool.
vanilla icecream
- Scrape out the vanilla pod, bring to the boil with half of the sugar, milk and cream.
- In the meantime, stir the egg yolks with the rest of the sugar until creamy.
- Now pour the vanilla milk through a sieve and add to the egg mixture.
- Thicken the egg milk over low heat and stir, but do not bring to the boil, allow to cool
Further processing
- First distribute the strawberry mixture on silicone molds and then the vanilla mixture.
- Marble everything with a chopstick and put in the freezer for about 4 hours.
- Now put the ice cream on a plate and if you want to enjoy it with some cream -; 🙂
