Strawberry and Vanilla Ice Cream

The perfect strawberry and vanilla ice cream recipe with a picture and simple step-by-step instructions.

Strawberry ice cream

  • 200 g Strawberries
  • 75 g Sugar
  • 3 tablespoon Water
  • 1 teaspoon Freshly squeezed lemon juice

vanilla icecream

  • 150 ml Milk
  • 150 ml Cream
  • 1 Vanilla pod
  • 60 g Sugar
  • 4 Egg yolk

Strawberry ice cream

  1. Let the sugar simmer with the water.
  2. Clean and wash the strawberries, cut into small pieces, puree with a hand blender and pass through a sieve.
  3. Add the sugar water and lemon juice, stir well and let cool.

vanilla icecream

  1. Scrape out the vanilla pod, bring to the boil with half of the sugar, milk and cream.
  2. In the meantime, stir the egg yolks with the rest of the sugar until creamy.
  3. Now pour the vanilla milk through a sieve and add to the egg mixture.
  4. Thicken the egg milk over low heat and stir, but do not bring to the boil, allow to cool

Further processing

  1. First distribute the strawberry mixture on silicone molds and then the vanilla mixture.
  2. Marble everything with a chopstick and put in the freezer for about 4 hours.
  3. Now put the ice cream on a plate and if you want to enjoy it with some cream -; 🙂
