Strawberry buttercream

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 250 g strawberries
  • 50 ml water
  • 50 ml grenadine
  • 1 pack of cream pudding powder
  • some water, approx. 2 – 3 tbsp, to stir the pudding powder until smooth
  • 2 tbsp sugar
  • 250 g butter, soft
  • 1 tbsp powdered sugar

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 4 hours; Cooking/baking time approx. 10 minutes; Total time approx. 4 hours 25 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries. Combine the cream pudding with the sugar and stir in 2-3 tablespoons of water until smooth. Then puree the strawberries with 50 ml of water and grenadine. Bring to a boil in a saucepan. Add the mixed cream pudding and bring back to a boil briefly. Let the strawberry pudding mixture cool. Beat the butter with the powdered sugar until creamy and add the strawberry cream pudding a spoonful at a time. Mix everything well.
