Ingredients for 1 servings:
- 2 kg strawberries, cleaned and weighed
- 1.2 kg gelling sugar 2:1
- 275 ml coconut liqueur (Malibul liqueur)
- 2 packs of citric acid
Instructions
Working time approx. 45 minutes; Cooking/baking time approx. 15 minutes; Total time approx. 1 hour
with liqueur
Place the cleaned strawberries in a sufficiently large saucepan. Pour in the liqueur. Purée everything with a hand blender. Add the gelling sugar and citric acid and stir in. Bring the mixture to a boil, stirring occasionally. Then, continue to boil for 4 minutes, stirring continuously. Test for settling. Place a small spoonful of jam on a plate. If it doesn’t set, let it boil a little longer if necessary. Immediately pour the jam into hot, rinsed jars and seal them.
