Ingredients

  • 1 kg Fresh strawberries
  • 250 g Sifted powdered sugar
  • 1 bunch Chopped mint
  • 12 cl Advocaat
  • 400 ml Cream 30% fat
  • 2 packet Bourbon vanilla sugar

Instructions

Unfortunately, the end product is missing in a beautiful decoration

  • At the beginning I didn't know whether it was worth discontinuing this ice cream. I didn't even know how to do it. So sorry that I didn't take a picture of the pureeing process.

But now I start:

  • I first washed the strawberries properly. Then I plucked the stems out and cut them in half. Turn on the mixer and off you go.
  • Then I mixed the cream with the bourbon vanilla and whipped it. Don't let it get too tight.
  • Then I added the egg liqueur little by little because I didn't know when the right taste would be there. So that's up to you how much you want to give to it. My ice cream still doesn't taste like eggnog. BUT WARNING: THIS ICE IS NOT SUITABLE FOR CHILDREN !!!!
  • I then added the sifted powdered sugar to the pureed strawberries. Mix everything together well.
  • At the very end, add the mint and put it in the freezer. Then for the first few hours I would take the bowls out of the freezer every hour and stir them so that no crystals would form.
  • Tastes delicious, but I tasted it before it was freezing. Now I'm just saying: If you like my recipe, enjoy it.
