Strawberry Mojito Punch

Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 3 limes
  • 18 sprigs of mint
  • 1 ½ kg strawberries
  • 300 ml rum
  • 300 g brown sugar
  • 1 ½ liters of chilled, carbonated mineral water
  • 3 bottles of sparkling wine, chilled

Instructions

Working time approx. 15 minutes; Rest time approx. 1 hour; Total time approx. 1 hour 15 minutes

Summer party drink

Wash the limes in hot water. Then grate as much of the zest as possible. Halve the limes and squeeze out the juice. Wash the mint, shake it dry, and pluck the individual leaves from the stems. Now wash, hull, and slice the strawberries. Mix the strawberries, rum, sugar, mint, lime juice, and zest and let it sit in the refrigerator for about an hour. Just before serving, pour in the sparkling wine and water and enjoy cold.
