Ingredients for 2 servings:

  • 3 eggs
  • 130 g flour
  • 1 pinch of salt
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 70 g sugar
  • 1 tbsp vanilla sugar
  • 2 tbsp butter
  • 200 ml milk
  • 1 tbsp Amaretto
  • 200 g strawberries, diced
  • 1 tbsp almond flakes

Instructions

Working time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 30 minutes

Separate the eggs. Beat the egg whites with a pinch of salt until stiff. Whisk together the egg yolks, milk, sugar, vanilla sugar, and amaretto liqueur. Combine the flour and baking powder, sift them on top, and stir in. Lightly fold in the beaten egg whites. Mix the diced strawberries and ½ tablespoon of flaked almonds and fold into the batter. Heat the margarine in a pan and then briefly fry a ladleful of batter. Turn once and let set again. Tear into pieces with two forks. Sprinkle with the remaining flaked almonds.
