Ingredients for 1 servings:

  • 500 g strawberries
  • 175 ml elderflower syrup, cold
  • 4 tbsp lime juice
  • 2 organic limes
  • 10 mint sprigs
  • 500 ml sparkling mineral water, ice cold
  • 1 bottle of sparkling wine, dry, ice-cold, (750 ml)

Instructions

Working time approx. 20 minutes; Rest time approx. 30 minutes; Total time approx. 50 minutes

Wash and hull the strawberries, and slice them thinly. Mix the slices with cold elderflower syrup and lime juice and marinate in the refrigerator for 30 minutes. Cut the limes into very thin slices. Place the strawberries, lime slices, and 8 to 10 small sprigs of mint in a large carafe or punch bowl. Top up with ice-cold mineral water and ice-cold sparkling wine and serve immediately.
